No Sew bow tie!

NO sew bow tie!
First you need a piece about 8 in long and 4 in wide and a piece about 4 in long and 1/2 to 1 in long.

fold it in half to find the center.
The you fold each side into the center and iron as shown.

With a hot glue gun fold in each side and put just drop to hold it place.
You then do an accordion fold to make it look like a bow! You can put a little bit of glue in between the folds.

Next put a little drop of glue on the accordion fold and put the end of your smaller piece and wrap it around.
Before finishing it off add a bobby pin or safety pin or any kind of clip. Fold the material over it and trim up the extra.
This is what the back looks like with a bobby pin
This is with the safety pin.

My son in his bow tie.

This is my daughter with one in her hair for my sons little man party!!

I found all my ideas off the internet or Pintrest, but I didn't fallow any one persons directions.

Entertaining kids

How much of your day is suppose to go toward entertaining your child? I feel like I do nothing but entertain, if I'm not I start to feel guilty. I know it is unreasonable to feel this way and they do need to learn to be on their own. I just don't know what the appopriate amount of time should be. Here they are playing outside, but still aren't happy for long still want me to directly entertain them!

Writing

All day I have a monolog of what I will write about and it changes as the day goes on, but when it comes time to sit down and write I can't think of anything!
My kids are still crazy, we still have too much stuff and I'm still tired. Yesterday I babysat, mowed the lawn, did the dishes and started dinner. My husband finished it after I gave him a hard time about not doing much. He did manage to get a really cute picture of the little ones tho.
Also this weekend we found out Walt likes cherries, I mean really likes them pits and all! Olivia got 3rd place at her dance competition, which was her first, and my nephew Skylar graduated high school. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but really just a normal, boring, busy weekend.

Little brothers

Walt is now 16 months and starting to really be his own person. He is trying new things and showing us a whole new personality. Earlier he wanted a drink from his sister's juice box so he came up to her and and gave her a big hug and then looked up at her with this expression of "PLEASE?"...... She gave him a drink. Not even a 3 year old can resist such cuteness. We also figured out today that Walter REALLY likes cheddar, broccoli rice. He was shoving it in his mouth like he had been starved for days. Weighing in a 30 lbs there is no way this boy is starved!!!
